Information, directions, a map and opening hours
The Waimea Town and Kamuela farmers markets are comparable in size (between 20 and 30 vendors). The Kuhio Hale Farmers Market in contrast is a bit smaller. All Saturday farmers markets are a great early breakfast location to start your weekend!
Waimea Town famers market
The Waimea Town farmers market is organized every Saturday between 7:30 am and noon in front of the Parker School in the center of Waimea. The vendor’s stalls surround a grassy area with picnic tables, where you can sit down and enjoy your just purchased fresh food.
The Waimea Town farmers market is your best choice of for freshly prepared (hot) food. You can i.e. buy fresh bread from a wood-fired stone oven, and food prepared by top chefs. One of these chefs was sous chef at Mauna Kea for 12 years, another is the current chef at Merriman’s in Waimea).

Kamuela Farmers Market at Pukalani stables
The Kamuela farmers market is at the same location as the Waimea mid-week market, but at a different day. You can find this market at the Parker ranch pukalani stables. Market hours are every Saturday between 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. The address of the Pukalani Stables is 67-139 Pukalani Road.

You can find fresh locally grown produce, trees, plants, cut flowers, a variety of prepared foods, coffee, fresh popcorn, hand crafted wood items, gluten free baked goods, hand crafted soaps and scents, and local dried fruit just to name a few.

Kuhio hale Farmers Market
The Kuhio Hale Farmers Market is a community market held every Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Kuhio Hale in Waimea. The first Saturday of each month, known as Vintage Saturday, features unique cultural items in addition to the usual offerings.
Visitors will enjoy the local, farm-to-table atmosphere—many of the fruits, vegetables, and other goods are harvested just a day before or the morning of the market. With over half the vendors being local farmers, you’ll find fresh organic produce, delicious homemade foods, and handcrafted products.

The Kekela -> Farm <- Market
You can buy produce from the Kekela Farm directly from the farmers at the Kekela Farm market. This means that the only thing available is farm-fresh produce.
They are open on Tuesday between 2:00 PM and 5:00 pm and on Saturday between 8 AM and noon at the farm (64-604 Mana Road).

Waimea Homestead farmers market (closed)
Important: As of March 2020 this farmers market is closed until further notice.
The Waimea Homestead farmers market is open every Saturday between 7 a.m. and noon. You can find them on the Waimea Middle and Waimea Elementary School Playground, at 67-1229 Mamalahoa Highway, Kamuela, Hawaii 96743 (call (808) 333-2165 for information). They sell produce, eggs, preserves, flowers, meats, fresh bread, plants, goat cheese, massages, and, best of all, breakfast prepared at the spot.

Waimea mid-week market (closed)
The midweek farmers market at the Parker ranch pukalani stables is held every Wednesday between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. The address of the Pukalani Stables is 67-139 Pukilani Road.
There are usually between 35 and 40 vendors present at the market selling fresh produce, orchids, coffee, as well as some crafts – jewelry, handmade cards, homemade aprons and chiropractic and massage specialists.
