Unlike most other travel websites we prioritize quality over quantity and hand-pick the tours based on 3 criteria:
- 1: We must have done the tour ourselves and loved it;
- 2: The tour must consistently receive good reviews, and
- 3: The tour operator must give back to the community and make an effort to minimize their impact on the environment.
Yes, but not that many. Unmissable for us means the tour is both uniquely Hawaiian and so memorable, you won't be able to stop talking about it once you get home. The following adventures did that for us:
- Big Island: The Manta Ray night snorkel/dive and seeing the lava at night (if lava is flowing).
- Maui: driving the Road to Hana.
- Kauaʻi: Exploring the Napali coast (by land, air, or water).
- Oʻahu: Visiting some of the world-famous white sand beaches and take in history at Pearl Harbor.
All tours shown here can be cancelled for free.
For most the free cancellation window is 24 or 48 hours before the start of the activiy, but there are a few outliers that require up to a week notice. You will be able to see the free cancellation window both on the tour description page and during the booking process (just before filling in your creditcard information).
