The Voyagers of the Pacific oceanfront luau features an all-you-care-to-eat buffet that features many vegan, vegetarian and gluten free items, complimentary cocktails and a dazzling presentation of music, songs, and dance celebrating the epic journey of our Hawaiian ancestors who traveled thousands of miles across the vast Pacific Ocean to make Kona their home.
Seating for the luau is on a first-come, first-served basis, so try to be there when the doors open at 04:45 pm if you want to get the best seating.
The Luau program starts at 5 pm with an aloha greeting and photo opportunities, followed by interactive island arts and crafts demonstrations. This luau is family-oriented and kid-friendly, and features special pre-show activities for kids including learning how to twirl Poi Balls, crafting their own flower wristband, and a temporary tattoo station.
The traditional Imu Ceremony where the Roasted Pig is removed from its underground earth oven starts at 6pm, and is followed by an all you can eat buffet and of course the show that weaves a story of songs and dances of the South Pacific, culminating in the spectacular Samoan fire dance (Siva Afi).
You will be served a buffet-style all-you-care-to-eat Hawaiian menu with traditional island fare and local specialties – including vegetarian and vegan choices as well as gluten-free options to accommodate guests with food allergies or food intolerance.
