This tour is not for everyone
The boat ride itself is fast and can be bumpy which is a feature for some people but a “bug” for others. Please only choose for this tour if you enjoy speed and adrenaline rushes and can handle a possibly rough ride. Looking for a smoother ride? Click here to see manta ray tours that offer a less intense experience.During the tour you will be taken on a 10 to 15 minute ride to a far side of the bay, far away from all the other boats. When you arrive at the snorkel spot you can just slide in the water of the boat to hang onto a light board (see picture below) and admire the manta rays as they get to arm-length (or closer!) distance.

Hold onto a light board and watch the manta rays come close as they feed on plankton attracted by the lights.
