The Kaʻu farmers market (website) is held twice a week in the town of Naʻalehu on highway 11 between Volcano village and Kona. Main market day is Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 2 PM, while a few vendors also show up on Fridays from 10 am to 3 pm.
You can find the market in on the mauka side (towards the volcano) of the highway just before the 77 gas station and Bay Clinic (when coming from Hilo/volcano).
The Naalehu farmers market is a small but a tasty stop if you are e.g. traveling between Kona and Volcano or if you are on your way to Punaluʻu black sand beach.
