This is the shorter of Jungle Zipline’s two courses: five lines instead of eight, about 1.5 hours instead of two hours, same jungle canopy in Haʻikū. Book this one if you want the jungle canopy in less time. The centerpiece is an 85-foot tree-to-tree suspension bridge strung between platforms, and the lines run from easiest to hardest.
Jungle canopy with ocean views in Haʻikū
Pick Jungle Zipline over the flatter pasture courses elsewhere on Maui for the setting: you zip through dense canopy, with ocean views opening between the trees. Reviewers bring that up first. The guides are calm and professional, and good at walking nervous first-timers through the first launch. Groups spanning early teens to riders in their 70s get through it fine.
What the tour covers
Five ziplines, three tree platforms, the 85-foot suspension bridge, and a few swinging bridges between sections. There is an optional quick-jump free-fall between some lines that you can skip. Water and granola bars come midway, chips and drinks after. The group limit is 10 riders. When you finish, the on-site tropical park is open to walk through, with native Hawaiian plants and traditional taro on the property.
Before you book
Staff weigh everyone at check-in and enforce the 45 to 250 lb limit on the spot: anyone outside it doesn’t ride and gets no refund, so weigh your group before you drive out. The course is about 25 minutes from Kahului along the Road to Hāna, on narrow roads, so allow extra time if you plan other stops that day. Closed-toe shoes are required. Cancel at least 24 hours ahead; a $20 per person fee applies even then.
At $139 per adult it costs less than the 8-line course, with three fewer lines and half an hour less on the course. It works best for families with younger kids and first-timers testing whether ziplining is for them. It’s also a good pick for anyone short on time who wants the canopy. If you want more zipping and the full two hours, book the 8-line course instead. Stop for a few seconds in the middle of the suspension bridge for the view; reviewers single it out.

About Jungle Zipline
Jungle Zipline runs an eco course built into the canopy in Haʻikū, along the Road to Hāna in north Maui, with native Hawaiian plants and traditional taro growing on the property. The setting is what separates it from the open-field courses elsewhere on the island: you ride through dense jungle rather than across cleared land. This 5-line tour holds a 4.8 rating across 61 reviews, and the operator rates higher still across its courses overall.
