Important: Out of respect to our guests we attempt to leave on time for every trip. If you are running late and do not arrive at the boat prior to the start of the passenger safety briefing your ticket will be forfeited. Refunds cannot be processed for no-shows / late arrivals so please plan ahead and arrive on time.

Weather Cancellation - In the event of unsafe weather or heavy rain we will cancel the tour. We will notify guests as soon as the cancellation is made. At Turtle Canyon, large numbers of sea turtles float above the reef while the reef fish swim around them and clean their shells. When the turtles come up to breathe, you can see them from the boat. The reef itself is around 20 to 45 feet deep, which is a little deep for snorkelers, but the turtles come up to the shallows and swim close to people in the water.

After snorkeling, climb back on board for complimentary snacks and drinks. On the ride back to the harbor, watch for spinner dolphins and, from December to April, humpback whales.

Weather Cancellation – Living Ocean cancels the tour for unsafe weather or heavy rain and tells you by email, and by text if you gave a text-capable phone number, as soon as it cancels. If you have purchased your ticket directly through Living Ocean you will have the option of rescheduling (based on availability) or a full refund. If your ticket was purchased through a 3rd party you will have the option of rescheduling (based on availability). Living Ocean does not handle refunds for tickets sold by third parties or daily deal sites, so after a cancellation, check the refund policy of the business you bought from.
Sea Sickness – Generally the ocean is calm near Waikiki, but if you are prone to sea sickness or are not accustomed to being aboard ocean going boats ask your doctor or pharmacist about preventing seasickness before your trip.
Departure Time / Late Arrivals – The crew tries to leave on time for every trip. If you reach the boat after the passenger safety briefing starts, you lose your ticket, and no-shows and late arrivals get no refund.
Parking – Parking is available at Kewalo Basin Boat Harbor for $2 per hour. Pay machines accept cash and credit card. The Kewalo Basin Boat Harbor map below, also in your confirmation email, shows the parking areas and where the boat docks.
