Important: This is a seasonal cruise that runs from Dec 15th to March 31st. We recommend you bring a hat, sunglasses, camera, reusable water bottle, towel and a light jacket with you.

Maui is the place to see humpback whales. Each year these magnificent creatures migrate south from Alaska, and although you can see them throughout Hawaii, the ʻAuʻau channel off Maui has the most humpbacks. Humpbacks mate and calve in these warm, shallow, protected waters. They often breach fully out of the water!
We generally spot humpbacks on all of our trips during the winter, but this season we’re running a sail-only whale trip, Sail with the Whales! We leave Māʻalaea harbor and sail out in the afternoon Tradewinds. We sail the whole trip, so we can head to wherever the whales may be.
