A Ziplining experience by Outfitters Kauai. Back to all Kauai tours.
Tour Summary: Six ziplines over Kipu Ranch's Jurassic Park filming locations, finishing with a face-down, 4,000-foot FlyLine that Outfitters claims as Hawaiʻi's longest single zipline
Large photoThe FlyLine drops 400 feet in the first section.
Large photoThe superman harness keeps you face-down for the full flight. Most guests say it takes about 30 seconds to stop thinking about it and start looking around.
Large photoThe guides say first-time zippers laugh like this more often than they scream. Both reactions are fine.
Large photoThe Powerline is one of six lines on the course. The FlyLine at the end is the longest zipline in Hawaii.
Large photoThe dual line lets two people fly at the same time. It is the most popular setup for couples and friends who want to go together.

# Full tour details and what to expect
Outfitters Kauaʻi runs all four of its zipline experiences on Kipu Ranch, a 4,000-acre working cattle ranch at the base of the Haʻupu Mountain Range outside Līhuʻe. The ranch is private land: no day hikers, no other operators, no public access. That exclusivity is what keeps the scenery intact and the trails uncrowded. If the landscape looks familiar, it should: Jurassic Park, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Descendants all filmed here. The guides know this land in depth and cover cultural history, local ecology, and on-island food recommendations during transit between lines.
The four formats share the same ranch but differ significantly in duration, activity mix, and intensity. Two are zipline-focused courses in the three-to-four-hour range. One is a standalone single-line flight for guests who want only the finale. The fourth is a full-day combination of kayaking, hiking, and ziplining across both the Huleʻia River and the ranch itself.
| Tour | Price | Duration | Lines | Most Notable Zip |

| FlyLine Zipline | From $69 | 1.5 hrs | 1 | FlyLine: 4,000 ft prone, Hawaii’s longest |
| AdrenaLine Zipline | From $170 | 3 hrs | 3 + WaterZip | FlyLine: 4,000 ft prone + WaterZip splash landing |
| Nui Kauaʻi Zipline Adventure | From $69 | 3.75 hrs | 6 | FlyLine: 4,000 ft prone as six-line finale |
| Kipu Zipline Safari | From $255 | 6.5 hrs | 3 | 1,800-ft side-by-side tandem + WaterZip |
- FlyLine Zipline: Best for travelers who want Hawaii’s longest zipline as a single experience, without committing to a full course.
- AdrenaLine Zipline: Best for groups who want speed variety, the WaterZip splash landing, and the FlyLine finale in a focused three-hour course.
- Nui Kauaʻi Zipline Adventure: Best for guests who want the most total airtime and the full six-line progression, from warmup to finale.
- Kipu Zipline Safari: Best for mixed groups or families who want a full day outdoors combining paddling, swimming, hiking, and ziplining on private land.
FlyLine Zipline
The FlyLine is one thing: a 4,000-foot prone flight launched from the tallest zipline tower in Hawaii. At 50 feet off the ground, guides clip you face-down and horizontal, and you cover three-quarters of a mile over Kipu Ranch at up to 50 mph. Total time on-site is around 1.5 hours. This is the same line that closes both the AdrenaLine and Nui Kauaʻi courses.
At $69, it works for travelers who have done zipline courses elsewhere and want one specific flight, or for guests in a mixed group where some members book a full course and others prefer the shorter format. Minimum age 7, weight range 60 to 275 lbs, minimum height 4 feet.

The FlyLine drops 400 feet in the first section.
AdrenaLine Zipline
The AdrenaLine course runs three hours and skips the beginner lines. The first zipline is 800 feet long and runs 150 feet above the valley floor. The second is a 1,800-foot side-by-side tandem line, Outfitters Kauaʻi’s longest airtime of any single line on the course, where you can flip upside-down and race a companion. The third is the WaterZip, a splash landing into Bamboo Pool, a natural lava rock swimming hole. The FlyLine closes the course.
$170 per person. Reviews consistently flag the guides on this course for moving nervous guests through the harder moments without breaking the pacing for everyone else. Maximum 12 guests per group. Includes bottled water and Hanalima Bakery cookies. Minimum age 7, weight range 60 to 275 lbs, minimum height 4 feet.

The Powerline is one of six lines on the course. The FlyLine at the end is the longest zipline in Hawaii.
Nui Kauaʻi Zipline Adventure
The Nui Kauaʻi format covers six lines and nearly two miles of total airtime over 3.75 hours. The course opens with two 600-foot side-by-side lines: you and a companion launch at the same moment and land on the same platform simultaneously. Lines escalate in length and speed from there. The FlyLine closes the course at 4,000 feet.
Between lines, an open-air truck carries the group across the ranch. Guides use transit time for local context: ranch history, flora, cultural detail, and food recommendations. This is the right format for guests who want the full arc rather than just the finale. The six-line progression makes the FlyLine land differently than it does as a standalone. Includes bottled water and Hanalima Bakery cookies. Maximum 12 guests. Minimum age 7, weight range 60 to 275 lbs, minimum height 4 feet.

The dual line lets two people fly at the same time. It is the most popular setup for couples and friends who want to go together.
Kipu Zipline Safari
The Safari is the full-day format at 6.5 hours, and it starts from a different meeting point on Waʻapa Road rather than Kipu Road. The day opens with a two-mile kayak on the Huleʻia River, followed by a hike through the ranch to swimming holes where guests can swing into fresh water. Three ziplines on the ranch include the 1,800-foot tandem line and the WaterZip splash into Bamboo Pool. The day closes with a motorized canoe ride.
Lunch is included: turkey or veggie sandwich, carrots, cookie, cold water, and Hawaiian Sun juice. Children as young as 5 can join the kayak and hike portions; the zipline minimum age is 7. This format works well for groups with a range of ages or comfort levels, since the day has enough variety that non-zippers still get a full experience. Rated 4.9 out of 5 across nearly 100 reviews, with private land access and guide quality as the consistent standouts. Weight range for zipline participants: 60 to 275 lbs.

The Safari runs a maximum of 12 guests. With 6.5 hours on private land, groups tend to arrive as strangers and leave with inside jokes about who screamed loudest on the WaterZip.

# About Outfitters Kauai
Outfitters Kauai operates entirely on Kipu Ranch, a 4,000-acre working cattle ranch where Jurassic Park and Raiders of the Lost Ark filmed on location. That setting is not set dressing. It is the landscape the ziplines actually cross. At $69 for the Nui Kauai tour, Outfitters sits at a comparable price point to Koloa Zipline and Kauai Backcountry Adventures, but it is the only operator on Kauaʻi with a water zipline (AdrenaLine tour), a face-down prone finale (all zipline tours), and a standalone single-flight option at $69 for those who want just the FlyLine.
