The Eta Aquarids in 2012 are a meteor shower for the early (Hawaiian) birds. Because the peak of the shower is only one day before the (largest of 2012) full moon, stargazers have to wait for the early morning when the moon sets in the West while the meteor shower radiant rises in the East.
